Parishioner, Julie Greer, was recently presented with the Cross Pro-Ecclesia on October 6th by Bishop Fernandes. “The Cross Pro-Ecclesia et Pontifice is bestowed on laypersons and clergy who have given service to the Catholic Church. The papal award was founded by Pope Leo XIII in 1888 and was originally intended to mark his 50th priestly jubilee.” Julie has worked for the Diocese of Columbus in the Chancery “as the executive assistant to Bishop Emeritus James Griffin, Bishop Emeritus Frederick Campbell, Bishop Robert Brennan and Bishop Fernandes during her 20 years with the diocese.” Read the full article linked here.

The holiday season is almost upon us; a time that's supposed to be joyful and festive. But for many people, this time of year can be difficult, especially if you or someone you care about are struggling with the loss of a loved one. If you're feeling grief this holiday season, know that you're not alone. Please consider joining others in a morning of reflection and conversations with one another. A continental breakfast will be available at 9:00am. Annie Dalby (LISW-S) is licensed social worker and spiritual director at Cornerstone of Hope.
Please join us for our annual Memorial Mass on Tuesday, November 5th at 7:00pm. We will gather as a community to remember and pray for those who have died this past year. There is no better way to celebrate them than by remembering them in the prayers of this special Mass. Please sign up by Friday, November 1 so we can have a candle ready. Please Note- Candle sign-up is reserved for those who have passed away in the last year, but all are welcome to attend and remember all loved ones who have passed.
This month’s First Friday Breakfast will be on the 8th instead of November 1st due to the Holiday (All Saints Day) and the Church offices being closed. Please RSVP as this month will be catered.
