Letter from Bishop Brennan

Dear Friends,

Recent days have seen a rise in the number of reported cases of the COVID-19 coronavirus and new guidance regarding the wearing of masks. I want primarily to encourage all those who are eligible and medically able to obtain the vaccine. I also encourage you to monitor and evaluate the data and guidance and to take appropriate measures in accord with the advice of your physician. We will provide masks and hand sanitizer where possible.

I remind you that those whose health is compromised and those who have legitimate concerns for their own health or that of their family are exempt from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass. Anyone who is not feeling well or showing even mild symptoms of what could be the coronavirus should remain at home.

We continue to pray for all those who are suffering with this illness, those who have died and those who mourn.
