When Jesus saw the two disciples following him, he turned to them and said, “What are you looking for?” They said to him, “Rabbi, where are you staying?” and he said to them, “Come and see”, and they stayed with him that day (John 1:38-39).
You, too, are invited to “come and see” what we are like and what we believe in. Family catechesis is available as part of our LIFT (Living in Faith Together) ministry.
Classes are now forming for families with children in grades 3-8 who have been baptized but have not had any formal religious education or not yet received their First Holy Communion. The first session will run September-December. This 6-week series (twice monthly on Sunday from 10:00-11:30am) will focus on the basics of our faith and also prepare the child to receive the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Eucharist.
