Gahanna Summer Free Lunch Program
    • Help Support the Gahanna Free Lunch Program

For many years, The City of Gahanna Ohio under the umbrella of G.R.I.N. (Gahanna Residents in Need) has provided summer meals to kids who otherwise would not have a good, nutritious lunch during the summer months.

For the 4rd year now our Social Concerns Ministry will participate in this event.  This year we will be serving two schools - Chapelfield School and Goshen Lane School the week of July 23rd  through the 27th

BUT…we need lots of help.  Help includes – food donations, prep, load car and take to school and serve.  View our two different casserole recipes which you can prepare in your home and bring to the Ministry Center.  Don’t like to cook – no worries!  You can help by donating many other needed items.

Need service hours??  What a perfect opportunity!  (All serving volunteers must be 13 years of age or older).  There are other opportunities available besides serving.

One important note:  All servers must be at least 13 yrs. old.  If you 19 years of age or older and would like to serve at the schools, you MUST either go through the Protecting God’s Children program or contact the Gahanna Police Department for a background check.
