Communications Requests

Bulletin updates and announcment submissions can be emailed to bulletin@cotrna.org. All other requests can be submitted through the link below. Please review the considerations below before submitting any request, especially noting the deadlines for submissions.

Considerations:

• We reserve the right to change any wording, images, etc. to be in compliance with copyright laws, to best fit the space available and consistent with parish branding.
• Please note that we will do our best to include announcement requests, but depending on the weekend, we may not be able to honor your request.
• Submitting a request does not mean that your event/program is scheduled with the parish. Ministry leaders should submit events/programs for approval through the ParishStaq accounts. Contact the parish office if you need assistance.

 

What is a Bulletin/Announcement Request?

• Bulletin requests are considered to be text blurbs or ministry updates that would accompany existing graphics/branding. Bulletin submissions for events or programs would fall under Other Marketing Requests and should be made 6-8 weeks in advance. Please see that section for more details.
• Announcement requests are considered quick updates from ministries to be announced at Mass.

Deadline for Submissions
Bulletin requests need to be made at least 10 days in advance of the weekend that you would like it to be in the bulletin.  For example: if you want it in the bulletin for the weekend of Sunday, July 16th, they would need to be submitted by Wednesday, July 5th.
Announcement requests can be made up until Thursday at noon leading into the weekend of announcements. For example: if you want to request an announcement for the weekend of Sunday, July 16th, the form would need to be submitted by Thursday, July 13th at noon.

*Note: If you have already been given a communications plan, because you submitted an other marketing request, there is no need to submit bulletin/announcement requests for your event/program.

What is an "Other Marketing Request"?
"Other Marketing Requests" requests are considered to be requests for an event or program. These requests will be given indiviualized communications plans that may include (but is not limited to):

• Space in the bulletin
• Announcements at Mass
• Creation of promotional materials i.e.- flyers, videos, etc.
• Promotion on social media (Facebook and Instagram) and parish website
• Promotion in Gathering Space

Deadline for Submissions
To best serve your ministry, and to navigate the parish calendar as a whole, submission requests should be made at least 6-8 weeks in advance of your event/program start date. The closer to that 8 week mark you submit, the better we are able to promote, collaborate, and meet the needs of your ministry.
